MANOLO GABBIADINI. 3. Manolo Gabbiadini had a quiet game, being substituted at half-time meaning he had no chance to make an impact. With the Saints having no attempts in the first half, he naturally didn’t register a shot.. Striker. Southampton

Austin played just over 80 minutes on his return, and with the Saints being isolated, frustrated and outright poor, he was bound to not have a lot of attempts on goal. He did however register a shot – better than can be said for his teammates. He’ll hope to push on in the coming games.. Striker. Southampton. CHARLIE AUSTIN. 5

SOuthampton. SHANE LONG. 5. Long had a better game than Gabbi and like always put in a shift in after coming on. However, with West Ham comfortably ahead, they sat deeper and this frustrated the Irish striker.. First substitute

SOFIANE BOUFAL. 5. Coming on in the 67th minute, Boufal – like Long – had a solid impact and tried his hardest but as mentioned, the game was already dead and buried so the Moroccan was always going to struggle.. Second substitute. Southampton
