Alvaro Morata

Chelsea’s record summer signing started his Chelsea tenure well, with plenty of goals (many headed) up until Christmas.

However spells out due to personal reasons and an injury has caused the Spaniard’s goal tally to shrivel up come the turn of the new year.

Since New Year’s Day, the striker has only scored twice, once in the FA Cup and once in the league (the win against Leicester and the loss against Tottenham).

Despite the fact that Morata is still on a bad goal drought, he is Chelsea’s top-scorer still and could score against Saints to bring back confidence that will be vital for the end-of-season run-in!
