Riyad Mahrez – Winger

The Algerian international has had a somewhat interesting season at Leicester City, Mahrez being heavily linked to Manchester City in January was denied to move to the now Premier League Champions and thus opted to no-show at training and games.

However, since the spat, the winger has gone on to keep playing for the Foxes’ and add to his figures this campaign – ten Goals and eight assists being those, and rather impressive.

Mahrez was also the Premier League ‘Player of the Season’ award when Leicester City lifted the title in 2016, his trickery, dribbling and technique being his best assets which cause defenders nightmares – therefore will need to be marked intensely by Southampton’s defence.
