Leicester City 0-0 Southampton: Three key takeaways

A True Derby?
The next Premier League game on the schedule is April 28th at St. Mary’s as Southampton host Bournemouth.
Since Bournemouth’s promotion in 2015, many have pushed this as a geographical derby, even though it never took on the luster of a match with Portsmouth. However, with the consequences of the result so critical, it is certainly going to feel that way on the south coast.
Bournemouth are sitting nine points above relegation with a Premier League spot in 2018-19 all but sealed up. With just Swansea City and Burnley left on the schedule this is likely an all-in game for the Cherries.
The first match ended 1-1 with Charlie Austin saving the day!
Wishful thinking will say the atmosphere at St. Mary’s will be through the roof, but in reality, and opening goal for the away side could mean the end of the season for Southampton.
