Southampton welcome the visit of Bournemouth this Saturday, in what now looks to be another crucial game in the Saints’ ever increasing difficult campaign – relegation looks very much set on the cards now, following a poor run of results since Mark Hughes’ appointment.

The situation, in terms of league positioning has changed a drastic amount since the two sides last met at the Vitality Stadium, where both south coast clubs shared the points on the day in 1-1 draw – Bournemouth, at the time looking to escape the bottom three-four of the Premier League, whilst Southampton sat just a few places above.

Going into this weekend’s game, the two have somewhat simultaneously swapped places in the league, with the Cherries having the chance to seriously dent Southampton’s relegation survival hopes to absolute tatters – it’ll be a game that Eddie Howe’s will most likely relish, given that they have always been considered in-superior to their south-coast neighbours.

So what players for Bournemouth could cause Southampton some serious problems? Lets go into detail.
