Callum Wilson – Forward

The former-Coventry City man has had a somewhat difficult time since his arrival in the Premier League, plagued with injury throughout all of Bournemouth’s three seasons in the top flight, the Englishman has found it difficult to have a decent run in the team – though has always been prolific when featured.

In 58 Premier League games, Wilson has found the net 18 times, and though this might sound underwhelming, given the fact that a lot of these games the forward has not been at 100% fitness, it gives the record some more accord.

Just like his teammate Joshua King, Wilson possesses great pace, and therefore used to put pressure on Southampton’s backline, or used on the counter away from home, the 5’11 star could pose a real issue to what is a slow, underachieving defence, and therefore playing a high-line could prove fatal for the Saints.
