Tadic Stepped Up When it Mattered Most

Most Saints fans would agree, Dusan Tadic had his best game on the season, in the biggest game of the season.

Scoring a brace, and delivering all three point was just part of the story.  Tadic looked confident from the get go, and contributed in all aspects of his game.

The Serbian setup Ryan Bertrand for the opening chance for Southampton, and later again, with a ball over top that nearly made it 3-1.  He combined with Cedric Soares on the right hand side to deliver dangerous crosses into the box, and he actually defended today.

I must say I have been incredibly critical of Tadic all season long.  There have been games where he has looked the weakest link on the pitch by miles.  However, we should all give credit where credit is due, as Dusan took this game over and kept all Saints’ fans hopes for survival alive!
