Southampton will need a serious shake-up after last years failings to compete for a top half finish in the Premier league, and having narrowly escaped the drop to the Championship.

Departures from St. Mary’s could also consist of the likes of Sofiane Boufal, Dusan Tadic, Manolo Gabbiadini and therefore Saints could find themselves in a position were they might have to recruit high numbers in order to fully prepared for the new incoming season.

Though all of these players have not been at their best this season past, it goes without doubt that they have been game-changers for Southampton at some point during their tenure with the south-coast club, and therefore who replaces them must be of great quality, and arguably proven.

Therefore, we will be looking at players that could be put into thought of being potential summer acquisitions for Saints, their stats and style of play to see what impact they could have in future games and how they would fit within the squad come the end of the window.
