Quincy Promes (Spartak Moscow)

Southampton’s primary target  in January was Quincy Promes, and it was well publicised that a fee couldn’t be agreed with Spartak before the close of the window. With Saints now secure in the top flight could Promes be persuaded to move to the South Coast?

It is thought that a fee of £25m-£30 million would be needed for a deal to go through, however the Dutchman will have other suitors which could drive the price higher.

Southampton have needed a direct forward player in their side since Sadio Mane left. Pace, skill and goals from wide is what you can expect from the Spartak wide man.

64 goals and 33 assists in all competitions in 128 games is a far superior record to that of Mane when he moved to the Premier League, the likely club-record fee, in my opinion, would be worth it.
