Danny Ings

Attacking additions are also required at Saints and reports have linked them again with Liverpool striker Danny Ings.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 25-year-old is looking for options away from Anfield this summer as he searches for some sustained first-team football.

If Saints are to pursue Ings though, they will likely have competition. The same report states that Spurs, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Inter Milan and enquired about his availability.

The striker has proven his talent in the Premier League with Burnley and scored 11 times during 2014/15 for the Clarets.

A risk to be taken with him however is his recent injury record that has prevented him from being involved for a large portion of recent seasons.
