Emmanuel Mayuka

The Zambian international arrived from BSC Young Boys for around £3.5m ahead of Saints’ first campaign back in the Premier League in 2012/13.

The team needed striking options to call upon behind Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez and it was thought that he could provide some pace from the bench late on in games.

However, his time in England was less than a success. 19 appearances for the club yielded jsut one goal, which came against Barnsley in the League Cup.

Mayuka was eventually given to Metz in France on a free transfer, and can now be found playing in the Israel first division for Hapoel Raanana.
