Southampton: Saints linked with 3 pieces of late transfer business

With Thursday’s transfer deadline fast approaching, it remains to be seen if Southampton will dip back into the market and add to their squad.

Spaces still remain in the Saints first-team for attackers and potentially a second-choice Right-Back despite the good recruitment that the club has done so far this summer.

Mark Hughes stated after his team’s final pre-season friendly with Borussia Monchengladbach that moves were not likely, but they may still be tempted if particular openings arise in a competitive market.

Loans and permanent deals for players outgoing from St Mary’s could still happen too as clubs all over the country scramble to complete their squads for the 2018/19 season.
