Southampton picked up their first league win of the season on Saturday afternoon, bringing home all three points from Crystal Palace for the second season in a row.

You have to go back to April 2017 to find the last time Saints recorded two wins in a 7 day period. So this week has been both relieving and encouraging for players and fans alike, and a positive way to go into the international break.

A penalty miss, two penalty shouts, some missed opportunities and redemption for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg were all talking points from Saturday afternoon. But what has this match given us to ponder over during the two week international break?
