Pascal Gross – Midfielder

The German is easily Brighton’s go to player in terms of a creative spark – in 42 Premier League appearances for Albion he has notched eight goals, and eight assists, considering his team have only scored 39 goals in England’s top tier, that means that Gross has been involved in nearly half of their goals.

Gross operates for Brighton as the attacking midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 system usually, playing in behind the single striker and pulling the strings as well as driving into goalscoring positions from deep.

To prevent him from causing havoc this weekend, the likes of Mario Lemina and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will need to keep tight to Gross, and ensure that he is put onto his left foot when trying to be an influence, as he has scored the majority of his goals with his right.
