Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Now two games removed from his red card against Leicester, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has fully redeemed himself with two goals that may be the best Southampton score all season.

The 35 yard screamer he scored on Monday night was a thing of beauty.  Picking the ball up in space, teeing the ball up with a perfect touch and driving through the sweet-spot of the ball, sending a low drive to the far corner.  It was a goal to remember, and one that had Saints fans telling him to shoot every time he picked up the ball.

However, it should be noted that he also played an excellent center half, partnering with Mario Lemina to completely control the game for the opening 45 minutes.

He is quickly becoming the heart and soul of the team, and has endeared himself to all fans with his play on the pitch and his interviews off of them.  Hojbjerg possesses the attitude needed to move the Saints forward, and once again showed his qualities in the disappointing draw Monday night.
