Southampton fell to a 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Saturday after conceding two late goals due to ill-disciplined defending.

Strikes from Ivan Cavaleiro and Jonny proved to be enough to win the game and left everyone scratching their heads from a Saints perspective.

Mark Hughes will be taking a look at some of the fringe players in his squad this Tuesday as his side face Everton in the Carabao Cup.

It could be that changes are needed to the starting 11 to kick-start some sort of form for Saints this season, and a chance for players such as Maya Yoshida, Oriol Romeu and Manolo Gabbiadini to impress could prove vital.
