Southampton find themselves out of the Carabao Cup after they are knocked out by Leicester on penalties.

The match dragged on for 90+ minutes with only glimpses of excitement. Knowing Manchester City awaited the winner of the match this was an opportunity for the two teams to try different things and trot out players who normally don’t get to play.
