Hasenhuttl is a man with a plan

In his short time in charge the Austrain has proven one thing. He will take every opponent seriously, study them, and will come up with a game plan on how to beat them. He has a hunger to win and improve and that includes studying film and learning whatever he can about the opposing team.

Chelsea were no exception to this. Southampton, came out with a clear game plan to stifle the Chelsea attack and stymie their creativity. It worked magnificently well and limited the London side’s clear cut chances. Of course, you can only contain a side like Chelsea for so long in a match but Angus Gunn was up to the task of stopping the shots that did find the target.

Going forward, facing teams that do not have the talent of top sides like Chelsea and City, Hasenhuttl will undoubtedly take advantage of that and cook up match plans to win and secure safety for the Saints comfortably.
