Tom Lawrence

It remains to be seen whether Lawrence will be risked this weekend by Frank Lampard after just returning to full fitness but he is expected to be in Derby’s 18-man squad.

When on form, the Welshman can be one of the Rams’ key creative threats from his position on the left-wing.

Added to an eye for a pass and a dangerous shot from distance, Lawrence is a free-kick specialist and cannot be given any opportunities around the box.

Saints will know about Lawrence’s ability after he netted twice in a 3-0 pre-season win against them back in July.
