Redmond the key man

The effort that Redmond has put in to his play this season cannot be denied but he is getting his full rewards now under Ralph Hasenhuttl.

After struggling to register goals and assists under Mark Hughes and previous managers at the club, it seems as though the winger’s game has been refined to help him get into the perfect positions to improve his output.

He netted a brace at Pride Park yesterday – the second a beautiful strike from range – and took his tally since Hasenhuttl’s appointment to six goal contributions (four goals, two assists).

All credit must go to Redmond himself after transforming his game and clearly putting in huge amounts of work to prepare himself for this campaign.
