Game management issues appear again
After Nathan Redmond had made it 2-0 shortly into the second-half, Saints should have been able to see out the game against a below par Derby County side.
However, they let the home side back into the contest with two goals in three minutes and must now face an extra game added to their upcoming schedule with a replay.
Performances have been a lot more positive under Ralph Hasenhuttl’s management but yesterday seemed to be a throw back to the bad habits that the team had under Mark Hughes.
Hopefully the upcoming run of five fixtures against Leicester City, Everton, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Cardiff can see Saints rise to their true potential.
