January 30th, Southampton vs. Crystal Palace

Our sole win under Mark Hughes this season came against the London based side. It was a 2-0 victory with both Danny Ings and Hojbjerg netting goals (Austin missed a penalty). Palace are currently 14th on the table with only 19 goals scored on the season.

This is absolutely a match the Saints need to take advantage of and secure all three points. I expect the Saints to dominate this game possession wise and Palace will sit back and absorb pressure and look to nab a goal or two on the counter.

This is not an easy win by any measure, it is the Premier League and anyone can beat anyone else, but it would be waste of a golden opportunity to get 3 points at home against a team that is also in the bottom half of the table

Prediction

Southampton 3-1 Palace

Goal Scorers: Danny Ings 2, Nathan Redmond
