Leicester City vs Southampton: Premier League – Opposition Threats

Southampton face a good test today with a trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester.

After a potentially crucial point away to Chelsea last time out in the league, they come up against former Saints boss Claude Puel and his side who currently sit seventh.

Saints will be without a number of players such as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Danny Ings and Charlie Austin for this clash and it remains to be seen whether their performance will suffer as a result.

More consistency has certainly been a plus point of displays under Ralph Hasenhuttl since the Austrian arrived so they will certainly still have the ability to get a positive result this afternoon.

The meeting between these two sides at St Mary’s earlier in the campaign saw the Foxes take a late 2-1 win away from the south-coast and they have a number of players for Saints to be wary of.
