Southampton: Three further January transfer links for Saints

We are now midway through January and consequently halfway towards the transfer window closing for clubs.

Details for any moves that are still in with a chance of completion will need to be finalised, and Saints are still to make any moves to bring players in this month.

Manolo Gabbiadini’s transfer to Sampdoria and Steven Davis’ loan to Rangers are the only pieces of business to take place so far at St Mary’s.

Plenty of links to potential signings have come as Ralph Hasenhuttl looks to strengthen his squad for the second half of the 2018/19 season.

An extra forward may be needed to provide extra goals and firepower, whilst defensive recruits may also be a priority.
