Jack Clarke – Winger, Leeds United

After links to Ademola Lookman and now Watkins, it looks like Saints want to add quality to their options on the wings in this transfer window.

A report from calciomercato.com has Saints showing interest in Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke who has provided some important moments in his side’s push for promotion this season.

His positive wing-play last Friday contributed hugely to a vital 2-0 win against Derby County; a driving run and cross to set up Kemar Roofe’s opener and a lofted cross that caused havoc and eventually led to Jack Harrison’s second.

At 18-years-old, Clarke is undoubtedly talented but also very raw having made only 13 senior appearances. It may also be that Leeds want to hold onto him if they see him being an important component in their final promotion push this campaign.
