Luka Milivojević

The Serbian is surely one of the Premier League’s unsung heroes, especially given the quality of the midfielder’s all round play and work rate. Lethal from the penalty spot, which has contributed to Milivojević’s overall total of six goals this season, he does not always earn the plaudits in the same fashion that some of his flashier colleagues do but there is no doubting that Palace miss him when he is absent.

The Palace skipper is a reliable figure in the middle of the park and whilst he may not be beating opposition players for pace, Southampton will need to make sure they do not offer any opportunities for Milivojević to capitalise. Given Southampton’s poor disciplinary record this season, they will have their work cut out to ensure that they do not gift Palace any set pieces.
