Ashley Barnes

Fresh from netting in Burnley’s 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in midweek, Barnes will be looking to add to his season’s tally again this afternoon.

With four goals in six previous appearances against Saints, he has proved to be tricky to contend with in the past.

His physical style makes him perfect for leading the line for Sean Dyche and the Saints defence can expect to be in for a challenging and bruising afternoon.

Defending from set-pieces and crosses will have to be faultless to stop both Barnes and strike partner Chris Wood from benefiting.
