Southampton vs Cardiff City: Premier League – Opposition Threats

Another vital Premier League game arrives for Southampton tomorrow as they host Cardiff City at St Mary’s.

Saints are unbeaten in five league matches, whilst the visitors were boosted by a huge 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

The two sides sit 16th and 18th respectively and are just two points apart in the table, so a win for either could see the momentum swing towards the victors in the fight against relegation.

Emotional scenes are likely at St Mary’s after it was confirmed this week that Emiliano Sala had passed away in a plane crash in the channel.

It will certainly be a cagey game with Cardiff likely to want to keep things tight and Saints going all out for the win in front of their home support.
