Arsenal 0-0 Southampton – Premier League, 2016

The point that Saints gained here proved a valuable one as they eventually finished the season in 6th place in the Premier League table.

The game itself was memorable for the performance of Fraser Forster though as he made a string of superb saves to keep the Arsenal attack at bay.

This was perhaps one of the main highlights of Forster’s time as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper and he has unfortunately slipped right down the pecking order now.

Saints were in the middle of a superb run at this time and had beaten Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford on the previous Saturday.
