Stephens Poor Run of Form Continues

It’s not been a good one of games for Jack. A late handball against Burnley and a terrible injury time clearance against Cardiff has cost his side vital points.

The centre back’s fortunes did not improve at the Emirates. With his side already one down, Stephens received the ball just outside his own area. After dawdling in possession, the Englishman finally opted to play a carelessly over hit ball back to Gunn.

While it is fair to say the keeper could have done better than the limp effort he managed, his colleague didn’t help matters with the hurried pass.

The number five shouldn’t be too surprised if he finds himself on the bench against Fulham after this showing.
