Tom Cairney

Cairney seems to have found it hard to adjust to Premier League football after being a key part of Fulham’s promotion campaign last season.

As the club’s captain in 2017/18, he led from the front and was almost indispensible to his side with his ability to create for others and chip in with goals of his own.

However, a number of factors have halted his progress somewhat to add to the already tricky step up from the Championship.

Many games have seen him out of position on the right-wing, whilst he has also been unable to produce consistency due to a foot injury and regularly being substituted before the end of games.
