Southampton: 3 selection headaches for Hasenhuttl ahead of Fulham clash

Southampton and Fulham face each other at St Mary’s this evening in what could be described as a season defining Premier League game for both sides.

They sit 18th and 19th respectively in the table but need to take the win for rather different reasons.

Three points for Saints would see them climb out of the relegation zone after Cardiff lost to Everton yesterday, whilst anything but a win for Fulham would see them all but relegated to the Championship.

The Cottagers have not won away from home this season though and most things including home advantage seem to be in Saints’ favour.

Ahead of the game however, Ralph Hasenhuttl has a few things selections headaches to sort as he tries to pick the best team possible to get him that all important win.
