Manchester United 0-1 Saints, 23rd January 2016

Ronald Koeman’s Saints side grabbed a superb win at Old Trafford back in 2016 that contributed towards an eventual sixth-placed finish in the Premier League.

The decisive moment of the game came in the 87th minute as Charlie Austin headed in James Ward-Prowse’s corner to send the away fans wild.

United had been under pressure under Louis Van Gaal and Saints took full advantage of a sluggish performance from the home side.

This game was the third in a crucial six-game run in January and early February of that campaign that saw them take sixteen points from a possible 18.
