Southampton: Saints keen on summer transfers for three forwards

Southampton failed to bring in any players during the January transfer window and it remains to be seen whether that will hurt them this season.

A number of first-team players left the club for pastures new as Ralph Hasenhuttl refined the squad at his disposal.

The Austrian seems to have significantly improved the chances of survival for Saints and has got some of the current players performing to impressively high standards.

New signings were expected given the struggles that the team were facing and a comprehensive adjustment of the squad will be expected in the summer should the club remain in the top-flight.
