Midfielders

Oriol Romeu, Central-Midfield – 5.5

Not able to influence the game from midfield and received his token yellow card. Sacrificed for Sims at the break.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Central-Midfield – 7

Energetic display from the Dane and almost scored in second-half. His influence further forward has been removed for a deeper role alongside Romeu

James Ward-Prowse, Attacking-Midfield – 7.5

Please don’t let this hot streak end any time soon. In the most high-pressure moment of the match, another brilliant execution of a set-piece to net his sixth goal in nine games.

Nathan Redmond, Attacking-Midfield – 6.5

Involved heavily in the second-half for Saints and really should have added his name to the scoresheet after two good chances. Keep getting into these positions and he will soon be back amongst the goals though.
