Southampton vs Tottenham: Premier League – Opposition Threats

Southampton face another tough Premier League test this afternoon as Spurs arrive at St Mary’s.

Both sides are in need of points, with Saints narrowly above the relegation zone and the visitors looking to consolidate their position in the top-four.

The meeting between both at Wembley back in December saw Mauricio Pochettino’s men win 3-1 as Ralph Hasenhuttl observed his new team from the stands.

Last time out, Saints narrowly lost a frenetic clash with Manchester United, whilst Spurs salvaged a draw against arch-rivals Arsenal courtesy of Harry Kane’s penalty.

If Saints are to get a result today, they will have to nullify a talented visiting side with plenty to offer in attack.
