Southampton: Rating the impact of Saints’ academy graduates this season

Southampton fans have had an exciting glimpse into the future under Ralph Hasenhuttl with a number of youngsters being promoted from the youth academy.

The club’s Austrian manager has put his faith in a number of youth players to help avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Hasenhuttl has said that he prefers a smaller squad to work with and there could be a place for youngsters next season to supplement the senior players should Saints survive in the top-flight.

After a few seasons of limited faith, the impact of the club’s talents looks to be improving once again.
