Yan Valery – A

Valery was trusted by Ralph Hasenhuttl to become the full time right-back in the Saints side and he hasn’t disappointed.

A couple of his earlier displays were a little tentative as he adjusted to Premier League football but he has grown into the role brilliantly.

The Frenchman can now be seen marauding down the right flank, taking on opponents and – as of late – getting his name on the scoresheet.

Whilst cover may be added in his position over the summer, it would be extremely harsh to not trust Valery from now on.
