Work-rate and dynamism

When Hasenhuttl outlined the extra things that he wanted from Ward-Prowse, his words obviously had a huge effect on the 24-year-old.

According to an article by skysports.com’s Adam Bate, he has covered the most ground (123.7 kilometres) of any Premier League player in the 10 games in 2019.

His superb performances have also seen him strong in the tackle and making use of that extra ground he has been covering.

It now looks like England will miss out on sampling his current performances though and their loss may well be Saints’ gain.
