Added goals from midfield

England’s attacking midfielders have a decent tally of goals to their name but the natural central-midfielders have not.

The goal tallies of Rice, Delph, Henderson and Dier come to just four strikes between them in 2018/19.

Ward-Prowse of course has six goals in his last nine games, which has seen him finding the net every 135 minutes.

He hasn’t been a regular scorer in the past but his current purple patch has seen him become one of Saints’ most dangerous attacking threats.
