Saints 3-0 Brighton – Championship, 19th November 2011

A run of four wins on the bounce in October and November of the 2011/12 season proved important for Saints’ charge to promotion.

The last of those victories came against Brighton in a dominant display.

A hat-trick from talismanic striker Rickie Lambert claimed the three points over the Seagulls and Saints remain strong at the top of the table.

Lambert opened the scoring in the shortly after half-time and added two penalties in the 58th and 69th minutes to complete his treble.
