Anthony Knockaert

Former Leicester City midfielder Anthony Knockaert has been a vital part in Brighton’s side since his debut for the Seagulls in the 2015/16 season.

Since their promotion to the Premiership, the Frenchman has had a hand in 12 goals (scoring five, assisting seven), with his versatility across the front line one of the main aspects of his game.

This season, the midfielder has found himself playing behind Murray in the centre, but also to the left and right of the striker, with his ability to cut in from the right hand side and hit a curling shot in with his left foot taking deadly effect in Brighton’s last top division game against arch rivals Crystal Palace – his goal being the difference last time out.

As said, its not just his long distance shooting the Southampton defence have to worry about, but his ability to put the ball in. The dedicated corner kick taker links well with target man Glenn Murray. His ability to put the ball onto a sixpence and Glenn Murrays target man instincts guaranteed to cause the Saints some issues this Saturday.
