Southampton vs Wolves: Premier League – Opposition Threats
By Marc Walker
Raul Jimenez
The capture of Jimenez from Benfica at the beginning of the season was seen as a fairly impressive signing for Wolves, but no one could have predicted the impact he has had in England.
He wasn’t a massively prolific scorer in Portugal but has been superb in attack for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side with 16 goals and eight assists this campaign.
The Mexican is likely to remain as an important part of Wolves’ side after signing permanently at Molineux last week for around £32m.
His partnership with Diogo Jota upfront has proved a dangerous combination for other teams to deal with and Saints will have to watch both players closely tomorrow.
