Midfielders

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Central-Midfield – 7

Everywhere once again and led by example despite not being on the ball as much as he would have liked during the game.

James Ward-Prowse, Central-Midfield – 6.5

A deeper role in this game to allow him to drop passes to Sims, Redmond and Ings into the channels

Josh Sims, Attacking-Midfield – 8

His first Premier League start for more than a year but assisted first goal and worried Boly with his pace in behind. Should have scored when put through on goal by Ings.

Nathan Redmond, Attacking-Midfield – 9

A performance to show the progress that he has made this year. Scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season with two neat finishes following clever runs.
