Nathan Redmond

Redmond continues to excel under the Austrian and bagged a brace on a day when Southampton needed someone to step up the most. Credit to Ings and Sims for the beautiful passes they made but both of the finishes were clinical by the Englishman.

Redmond looked dangerous all day long and it has quickly become the norm for him. If anyone has really grown and flourished in front of our eyes it has been Redmond. He was at the lowest in his career last season and we saw someone on top of the world Saturday when he knew that chip was going in for his second and he started wheeling away in celebration.

With the season winding down we will need a few more performances like this to ensure we stay up and play Premier League football next season.
