Southampton: Five players who should leave Saints in the summer

With Southampton looking increasingly likely to be playing Premier League football again next season, plans will be being made to prepare for another top-flight campaign.

A big part of this will be shaping the playing squad available to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl if he is to steer the club away from another struggle against relegation.

He has implemented his style superbly so far but will need specific players that he trusts to take roles within his setup.

This is likely to involve new signings arriving and, subsequently, departures from the current first-team squad.

Whilst Hasenhuttl has said that he will take a look at all the players before deciding who can stay, some changes significant may be upcoming.

Some senior members have been out on-loan this season, whilst some remain out of favour and looking increasingly dispensable ahead of 2019/20.
