Guido Carrillo

Saints’ club record signing has spent the 2018/19 season on-loan in Spain with Leganes.

This move saw him link up with former Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino and the pair have helped their current side to a respectable 11th place in the La Liga table.

Despite not having much of a chances at St Mary’s, Carrillo is unlikely to fit into Ralph Hasenhuttl’s style of play.

The Austrian’s setup requires pacy forwards to pressure opposition defences and the Argentine is more of a target man.
