Watford vs Southampton: Premier League – Opposition Threats

Southampton head to Vicarage Road to face Watford this evening and will be looking to bounce back from their loss to Newcastle.

A poor first-half display lost them the game at the weekend and they are still in need of points to secure their Premier League status.

Their hosts in Watford have enjoyed a fantastic campaign so far as they sit eighth in the table and look forward to the FA Cup final in May.

This fixture last season produced a 2-2 draw and was memorable for a controversial equaliser scored by Abdoulaye Doucoure in stoppage-time.

Tonight’s clash will be another good test of Ralph Hasenhuttl and his side as they will know a win could see them confirming safety next weekend.
