Southampton: Three memorable wins for Saints vs Bournemouth

Southampton will be hoping to confirm their Premier League safety on Saturday when they host Bournemouth.

If they manage to better Cardiff’s result against Fulham, they will be safe for another season and can start planning fully for 2019/20.

A 1-1 draw with Watford on Tuesday night saw Shane Long net the fastest ever Premier League goal after seven seconds, but Andre Gray netted an equaliser in the final minute of normal time.

Bournemouth have had an inconsistent season so far and suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Fulham last weekend.
