Southampton: Three memorable wins for Saints vs Bournemouth
By Marc Walker
Bournemouth 1-3 Saints, League One, 2010/11
The third win in an unbelievable run that saw Saints drop just four points from 15 games on their way to promotion from the third-tier.
Bournemouth took an early lead through Lauri Dalla Valle, but Lee Barnard headed home to make the score 1-1 at half-time.
It took until the 71st minute for Saints to take the lead as Dean Hammond slid home, and the three points were confirmed as Rickie Lambert powered home a superb free-kick.
This season saw the two sides face each other three times in league and cup having only met twice in the previous 50 years.
